As part of the Production Support team on the Wing Walkers line supporting Life New Business applications, this role is responsible for researching and resolving issues raised by business operations and identified through system monitoring. This person will help improve support processes, develop efficient solutions, and provide strong partnership across IT, business teams, Middleware, and SaaS vendors. The role also supports infrastructure upgrades, production stability, and continuous delivery efforts. Strong communication is essential, as this position serves as a liaison between technical and non-technical partners while ensuring applications run effectively and issues are resolved quickly. This role is based in Columbus, Ohio, with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office attendance on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday. On-call support is required one week out of every six, including 24/7 availability during the assigned rotation. Occasional off-hours support may also be needed for deployments and production issues. As a Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on providing high quality, efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity, you’ll analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document and maintain applications.
