About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative will conduct sales calls to current and potential customers. This role involves performing customer liaison duties, maintaining continual contact with current customers to ensure ongoing sales, and communicating promotions, sales, and incentives to build additional sales. The representative will also relay potential or current client issues to the Director of Sales.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • 1 to 3 years experience in customer service and inside sales.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in Communications or Marketing, a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for growing sales for specific named accounts.
  • Responsible for introducing new products to named accounts.
  • Act proactively to create opportunities for new business with existing customers.
  • Apply prospecting and sales methodologies to identify and connect with qualified customers through cold calling.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales to determine when/how new products or promotions should be introduced.
  • Implementing varying sales techniques as needed.
  • Develop and manage reports on sales data.
  • Maintain a strong, measurable level of customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for creating quotes from customers specifications.
  • Troubleshooting issues through internal departments to create positive outcomes.
  • Maintain continual communication with VP Sales and Customer Service as to customer satisfaction level.
  • Order look-up and entry if needed.
  • Calling current customers to measure customer satisfaction and keep lines of communication open for further sale opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
