About the Role: We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join team. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships, generating sales, managing accounts, preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with outside operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and has a strong sense of urgency, accuracy, and follow-through. The ideal candidate will be located in Salt Lake City, UT or Denver, CO.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or account management experience, preferably in steel, metals, industrial distribution, or manufacturing
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP/CRM systems

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers
  • Prospect for new business and create sales opportunities
  • Prepare quotes and close orders accurately and efficiently
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and contract growth opportunities
  • Manage accounts to support sales goals for revenue, margin, and volume
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability and on-time delivery
  • Track and expedite shipments to meet customer expectations
  • Develop strong knowledge of market trends and core products including pipe, tubing, and bar
  • Resolve customer issues related to pricing, delivery, quality, and service
