About The Position
Receives and responds to inquiries and orders from physicians, patients, and other referral sources. Answers incoming calls, initiates order intake for walk-in patients, and closes out each day's activities through the store front. The role requires knowledge of products and services, inventory and tracking responsibilities, and providing excellent customer service to all patients, guests, and family members. Responsibilities also include handling after-hours calls, transfilling, and deliveries.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent GED
- Three years of experience in a hospital business office or equivalent such as a physician's or insurance office
- Computer skills required
- Communication skills required
- Office equipment skills required
- Transcription skills required
Nice To Haves
- Two years Home Medical Equipment Billing experience preferred
- Medical accounts billing experience desirable
