About The Position

Six Pints Collective is looking for a Market Development Representative to join their team. Reporting to the Sr National Manager, Market Development, Six Pints, you will be an integral part of our sales and beer education team. You will be responsible for volume results in a specific territory covering the Quebec City region and surrounding areas. You should also be located and reside in this region. We are looking for a passionate, energetic person with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to contribute to an already recognized and respected company in the industry.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education and at least 2 years of experience in sales and territory management, ideally in an entrepreneurial environment or a small business.
  • Passion for beer and a good understanding of the factors that drive its sales.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the beer or packaged consumer goods industry.
  • Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Experience working with brands and the ability to generate measurable results using precise performance indicators.
  • Confidence and ability to influence and support a high-performing sales team.
  • Good to very good proficiency in computer skills and MS Office suite applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the specialty alcoholic beverage market or the craft beer sector is preferred.
  • High curiosity, desire for continuous learning, and willingness to challenge the status quo.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the brands of Six Pints and Molson Coors Canada (MCC).
  • Manage a strategic list of assigned accounts to drive volume and market share in line with Six Pints Collective's annual operational plan.
  • Support the broader MCC sales team with a list of identified and approved support accounts where growth opportunities for microbrewery products have been identified.
  • Develop and manage an activation strategy aligned with seasonality and focused on achieving ambitious key performance indicators in sales and marketing (distribution, product placement, education, staff training, and point-of-sale material execution).
  • Establish and maintain relationships with MCC regional managers to participate in general sales meetings, present during weekly calls, and promote solutions and programs that will drive volume and facilitate the sale of Six Pints brands within the MCC sales organization.
  • In collaboration with channel teams, deploy market-focused educational and hospitality programs, leveraging the resources of the Market Development Manager where possible.
  • Analyze sales reports to evaluate results, identify concrete action plans, and adjust the activation strategy as needed.
  • Produce weekly internal reports detailing market activity, successes, challenges, opportunities, competitive activity, and key learnings.
  • Manage trade and general and administrative budgets.
