About The Position
The Anthropology and Geography department is seeking a Repository Collection Technician. Expectations of this position include: 1) Keep set hours 2) Follow directions 3) Complete tasks as assigned 4) Ask for help when unsure of instructions 5) Work with other members of the team.
Requirements
- Student in CSU Anthropology BA program, archaeology concentration and museum heritage certificate referred
Nice To Haves
- Basic understanding of MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Archival paper materials
- Familiarity with archaeological report preparation and artifacts
Responsibilities
- Organize collections for the Archaeological Repository of Colorado State University (AR-CSU) (40%)
- Pack AR-CSU collections for pending move (40%)
- Assist in the AR-CSU move and arranging collections post-move (20%)
