About The Position

The Intern - Reporting role will play a crucial role in supporting the data analysis and reporting functions within our organization. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience in gathering, organizing, and interpreting data to generate insightful reports that inform business decisions. The intern will collaborate closely with the leadership/director and executive team to ensure accuracy and clarity in data presentation, contributing to the overall efficiency of reporting processes. Through this role, the intern will develop a strong foundation in data management, reporting tools, and analytical techniques, helping to enhance the organization's ability to make data-driven decisions by delivering timely and accurate reports.

Requirements

Highschool diploma or equivalent.
Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of functions and data visualization tools.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Ability to engage with confidential data in a professional manner

Nice To Haves

Experience with data visualization software such as Power BI.
Previous internship or project experience involving data reporting or analysis.

Responsibilities

Assist in collecting and validating data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Support the preparation and generation of regular and ad-hoc reports for different departments and leaders.
Collaborate with team members to analyze data trends and identify key insights.
Help maintain and update reporting dashboards and documentation.
Participate in team meetings to understand reporting requirements and contribute ideas for process improvements.
