Reporting and Controls Lead, Data Center Capacity Delivery

Anthropic
$320,000 - $405,000Hybrid

About The Position

Training and serving frontier AI models requires data center capacity at a scale and pace that conventional delivery models were not built for. Anthropic's Data Center Capacity Delivery team embeds with developers, general contractors, and third-party partners to take leased and partnered sites from deal close through floor access and operational handover as fast as they can safely be built. As the Reporting and Controls Lead, you'll own the single view of where every project in the delivery portfolio stands: consolidated milestone tracking from early floor access through floor access and ready-for-service, the integrity of the data behind it, and the capacity projections leadership plans against. You'll build and run the reporting the delivery team and executives rely on, and chase down the schedule and data discrepancies it surfaces. This is a highly cross-functional role: you'll work with Senior Delivery Managers and Regional Managers in the field, our third-party project-management partners, and the planning, transaction, design, and deployment teams whose inputs and outputs the portfolio schedule depends on.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in project controls, scheduling, or program reporting on large capital construction programs — data center, energy, or industrial
  • Run consolidated reporting across a multi-project portfolio, not a single job
  • Fluent in scheduling, spreadsheet, and BI tooling
  • Communicate clearly, in writing and in charts, to technical and executive audiences
  • Comfortable building the process while running it

Nice To Haves

  • Hyperscaler, colo, or developer-side program-controls experience
  • Owner's-side cost controls or earned-value reporting experience
  • Built planning or reporting tools leveraging AI-assisted development

Responsibilities

  • Own consolidated milestone tracking across all active and upcoming delivery projects — early floor access, floor access, ready for service — and keep it current
  • Validate schedule and status data from developers, GCs, and third-party partners; challenge what doesn't reconcile and fix it at the source
  • Maintain portfolio capacity projections and the variance to plan behind them
  • Build and maintain reporting for delivery reviews and executive updates
  • Define the data standards and integrated-schedule and tooling conventions projects report against, with the Program Management Lead
  • Automate reporting and data-quality checks where possible, including with AI-assisted tools

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation
  • Optional equity donation matching
  • Generous vacation
  • Parental leave
  • Flexible working hours
  • Lovely office space
