Reporting and Analytics Lead

Ilant Health,
Remote

About The Position

Ilant Health is a value-based healthcare provider focused on cardiometabolic obesity. They are dedicated to increasing access to treatment while reducing the total cost of care for employers and payers. They are a technology-enabled practice driven by analytics, aiming to personalize care using proprietary algorithms and a multidisciplinary care team empowered by an advanced digital platform. This platform includes specialized tools for providers and a Member Portal for members. The role of Reporting & Insights Lead is a senior, client-facing position responsible for owning client-facing reporting and analytics across the organization. This role is crucial for demonstrating the value of Ilant Health's product to clients, including self-funded employers, health plans, and partners, by showcasing measurable outcomes. It is a highly cross-functional role requiring collaboration with data engineering, analytics leadership, client success, and clinical operations teams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing reporting workstreams end-to-end, presenting directly to clients and executives, and enhancing how the organization measures and communicates value, without direct reports.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or healthcare data roles.
  • Track record owning client-facing reporting or analytics deliverables, ideally at a digital health, point-solution, or healthcare vendor company serving self-funded employers or health plans.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills, with hands-on experience in Snowflake and dbt data environments.
  • Experience presenting to and building credibility with client stakeholders (benefits leaders, health plan contacts) and internal executive audiences.
  • Experience supporting performance-guarantee or value-based outcome reporting, and translating outcomes into a clear client narrative.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with data engineering, clinical operations, client success, and sales.
  • Ability to manage multiple reporting workstreams independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with healthcare data (clinical, claims, patient operations, or revenue cycle) preferred.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment a plus.
  • Background in consulting, customer analytics, or external performance reporting a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own client-facing reporting deliverables, including performance-guarantee reporting, ROI/value narratives, and recurring business reviews.
  • Present directly to clients — walking through results, defending methodology, and building trust with client stakeholders, benefits leaders, and health plan contacts.
  • Partner with Client Success and Sales to shape how data and outcomes are communicated during renewals, upsells, and escalations.
  • Support executive and board-level reporting, translating complex data into clear, decision-ready narratives for senior internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as the lead analyst on reporting workstreams, prioritizing across competing internal and client-facing deliverables.
  • Maintain standardized metric definitions, data governance practices, and quality controls across internal and external reporting outputs.
  • Contribute to the technical direction of the reporting function, including data modeling standards, dashboard design, and automation opportunities.
  • Partner with data engineering and analytics leadership to improve reporting infrastructure and reduce manual effort.
  • Build and maintain data models using dbt within a Snowflake environment, ensuring accuracy and scalability of the underlying reporting layer.
  • Write advanced SQL queries and build dashboards to support analytics and client-facing reporting workflows.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all internal and external reporting, including regulatory, quality, and compliance reporting as needed.
  • Support reporting automation and workflow improvements in partnership with engineering.
