About The Position

Charter Manufacturing is seeking a Reporting & Analytics Intern to gain hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and KPI tracking. Interns will strengthen their technical and analytical skills using advanced Excel, financial systems, data tools like Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI, and gain exposure to SQL. The position also focuses on developing business communication, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Requirements

Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Ability to succeed in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

Accounting or Finance major with multiple related courses completed toward major.
Strong attention to details, accuracy, and reliability.
Advanced Excel skills.
Oracle experience.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain automated financial reporting dashboards and datasets.
Prepare management reporting packages that provide clear, actionable financial insights.
Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support leadership decision-making.
Research industry trends and relevant market insights.
Build scenario analyses to evaluate potential business outcomes and support planning.
Improve the accuracy and consistency of financial reporting.
Document data sources, reporting processes, and underlying logic.
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual finance processes.
