The Reporting Analyst collaborates in the design, development, support and maintenance of custom, interactive data solutions for the department, including data collection tools, data reports and dashboards. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • 5 years analyzing, interpreting, summarizing, displaying, and/or presenting data.
  • 2 years design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of enterprise applications, and/or analysis or reporting solutions, utilizing industry best practices and tools (such as Oracle, SQL and Access).
  • 2 years extracting and manipulating data for reporting purposes.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in BioInformatics, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Management Information Services, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Science, or Public Policy or Coursework/Training: Coursework in Business Intelligence.
  • Coursework/Training: Process/workflow improvement training (such as Agile, Lean or SCRUM).
  • Coursework/Training: Coursework in Computer Programming or Statistics.
  • Upon hire: EHR-EMR Data Warehouse, System Certificate (i.e., Epic module Certification or Proficiency).
  • Upon hire: SQL Server Certification.
  • Upon hire: Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate Certification.
  • 2 years analysis or research related to health services, healthcare utilization, or in a quality assessment environment.
  • 2 years consolidating disparate data sources into cohesive analytic datasets/solutions.
  • 1 year design, execution and evaluation of test plans.
  • 1 year Medical Claims Data or Clinical Reporting (especially for measuring cost, utilization, or quality of care).
  • 2 years Administrative data manipulation.
  • 2 years Business Intelligence, Financial Reporting, or Operational Reporting.
