About The Position

The Network News department at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Reporter to join our team! This role involves investigating, planning, producing, and reporting in Spanish, including breaking news. The reporter will conduct research, write scripts for broadcasting, perform live broadcasts, and report from on-air studios or on location. Responsibilities also include producing live interviews, being creative, having a sharp wit, and the ability to improvise and think quickly while on air. The role requires pitching news ideas and working closely with an assigned photographer. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is necessary.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Spanish language broadcasting preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish communication both written and oral.
• Strong knowledge of local market and ability to relate to the audience.
• Excellent public speaking skills and ability to interact with listeners and clients in public settings.
