About The Position

CBC Saskatchewan is looking for an enterprising and collaborative reporter to work in our Regina newsroom. This is a one-year temporary full-time role beginning in August 2026. As an exceptional journalist and a self-starter, you must be able to analyze a broad range of issues and thrive in the fast-paced, high-pressure world of storytelling, within a multi-platform newsroom. You will have endless ideas, a fresh approach to telling stories and a keen desire to ensure our programming is timely, relevant and reflects the news our audiences need to know right now. You know how to gather, write, edit, and package content for video, digital and audio platforms. And you thrive on the pressure of reporting breaking news from the field. You note the changing culture of the province. Your work highlights how these issues affect the day-to-day lives of the people who live here. In this role, you will ensure that your work meets all CBC journalistic standards and that our stories are fair, balanced, accurate, thoughtful, immediate and resonate with the communities we serve.
