About The Position

Alpine Intel, a leader in the property insurance intelligence industry, is seeking a Report Processor to join their growing team in Charlotte, NC. This role involves taking complex information and explaining it in simplistic and straightforward terms, researching to build knowledge, and utilizing technical and written skills to dissect damaged systems, figure out what is wrong, and explain conclusions to help settle claims. Alpine Intel coordinates damage assessments with local technicians and end-users and writes reports for adjusters to settle claims across the United States. The Processing Department is responsible for writing final reports detailing the cause of damage, repair vs replacement recommendations, and cost. As a report processor, you will work closely with field technicians to review and analyze assessment information, conduct additional research, and write comprehensive reports for insurance carriers. Day-to-day, processors organize factual information into intelligible, logical, and formatted reports for clients, whose insurance carriers rely on the accuracy of these reports for quick and fair settlement of specialty and complex claims.

Nice To Haves

  • It is highly preferred that you have a bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with field technicians to review and interpret assessment findings.
  • Utilize automated estimating systems to prepare “repair vs replacement” appraisals for property damage.
  • Compose final reports based on the assessments and industry best practices.
  • Answer clients’ questions in detail regarding the reports.
  • Be detailed in all notations to properly communicate to the team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the assessing technicians.
  • Produce a three-day turn-around-time per claim to ensure absolute customer satisfaction.
  • Answer inbound calls and be attentive in addressing each individual claim.
  • Handle or field end-user customer service escalations, as required.
  • Provide timely internal progress reports to the Alpine Intel Management Team.
  • Communicate with managers and peers clearly and effectively to build a trusting, respectful, and professional environment.
  • Receive critiques and feedback with an open mind and enact those changes in future reports and situations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
