Report Development/ Business Analyst
About The Position
A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Report Development/ Business Analyst. This is a Fulltime, Contract position with a duration of 3+ months, located in Charlotte, NC 28262. As a Reporting Business Analyst, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and prioritize reporting and data requirements, translating business needs into technical reporting solutions. You will optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and datasets to support reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making. Additionally, you will conduct data analysis, gap analysis, and impact assessments to identify reporting enhancements and process improvement opportunities. You will create interactive Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and SSRS reports to provide actionable business insights and KPI tracking.
Requirements
- Previous hands-on experience as a Software Developer; business analyst experience alone is not sufficient.
- Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting reports using Power BI, Report Builder, and SSRS.
- Advanced SQL expertise, including the ability to read, write, modify, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
- Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in proprietary SQL-based development tools and processes.
- Must be able to be engaged on a W-2 basis.
