About The Position

The Replenishment Commodity Manager is responsible for purchasing and inventory of the raw and packaging materials. Responsibility includes optimizing the inventory planning and material costs within the company’s policies & budget. This role requires a high ability to balance inventory targets and maintain forecast accuracy. This position is a key liaison to resolve supply issues, ensuring the efficient delivery of inventory, service, and cost objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in replenishment buyer/management
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related.
  • Proficiency with SAP & Excel.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage and develop supplier relationships.
  • Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments.
  • Excellent organizational, documentation and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions, requesting clarification when needed.
  • A positive approach and willingness to learn coupled with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Use required PPE Personal Protective Equipment: Safety Glasses and Safety Vest

Nice To Haves

  • APICS or Six Sigma certification strong Plus

Responsibilities

  • Creates & analyzes replenishment reports and produces daily vendor purchase orders.
  • Managed assigned commodity portfolio to ensure uninterrupted production while optimizing inventory levels and maintaining supply continuity.
  • Examines and processes warehouse transfers.
  • Monitors and maintain inventory ordering controls by reviewing forecasts, monthly reports, and vendor lead-time reports.
  • Monitors & adjust price changes and special buy opportunities.
  • Negotiates pricing and terms with new and existing vendors to achieve costing targets while maintaining quality and service.
  • Performs manual inventory adjustments.
  • Assists all departments with inventory related issues.
  • Works well as a team player.
  • Follows all company Policy/Store standards.
  • Communicates and coordinates with sales, customer service and operations to assist with customer needs.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed
