Replenishment Analyst II
About The Position
The Replenishment Analyst II manages inventory and the flow of goods from vendors into distribution centers for a subset of items or categories. The role is responsible for helping meet goals for store fill rates, in-stock availability, inventory turns, dwell times, sales, and margin. The analyst works closely with the Manager of Replenishment, Demand Planning, Category Management, and vendor partners to coordinate the timing and flow of goods needed to meet category goals. The position is based at the Store Support Office in Phoenix, Arizona, and follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in produce buying, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Ability to manage concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to supervise personnel effectively.
- Ability to preserve confidential information.
- Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with Relex or a similar inventory management tool.
Responsibilities
- Manage ordering parameters to meet fill-rate, turn, and freshness KPI goals.
- Manage system exceptions daily to maximize fill rates and freshness.
- Work with Inbound Logistics to develop cost-effective routes while maintaining freshness goals.
- Partner with the Demand Planner to help improve forecast accuracy.
- Communicate known issues that affect the ability to meet KPIs.
- Develop strategies with vendors to meet fill-rate, inventory, and freshness goals.
- Coordinate with the Manager of Replenishment, Category Manager, and Planning Analysts to align replenishment strategies with future forecast plans.
- Participate in developing continuous improvement ideas for systems and processes.
