About The Position

The Door Store & Windows is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Replacement Sales Representative to help homeowners transform their spaces through premium window and door solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional who thrives in consultative selling, in-home sales, home improvement sales, remodeling sales, or building products sales. You will work with warm company leads, showroom traffic, and self-generated opportunities while guiding customers from consultation through installation and project completion.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of sales experience in windows, doors, remodeling, home improvement, construction, building products, or a related industry
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and pricing/ordering systems
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and time management skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer homes

  • Experience with estimating, measurements, or residential construction environments

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners
  • Explain products, design options, pricing, and services
  • Take measurements and develop project recommendations
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales
  • Generate approximately 20% of your own qualified leads through networking, referrals, and prospecting
  • Work scheduled showroom hours, including some Saturdays, to engage walk-in customers and create opportunities
  • Collaborate with operations on measurements, ordering, order review, and project coordination
  • Follow projects through installation to ensure customer satisfaction and timely payment
  • Manage customer communication before, during, and after the sale
  • Support occasional new construction sales opportunities as needed
  • Participate in product training, sales development, and continuous process improvement
