Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the capability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant and quarry equipment
- Ability to understand and follow technical instructions, maintenance procedures, and safety practices
- Awareness of safe work habits while working around heavy machinery and moving equipment
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, climbing, and working in outdoor and indoor industrial environments
- Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to supporting operational needs
Responsibilities
- Assist in the operation of the Stone processing plants.
- Check conveyors, screens, and crushers; and report operating problems and oversize stone.
- Start and shut down plant equipment as necessary, and perform general clean up around the plant.
- Make minor repairs and adjustments, inspect and grease/lubricate plant equipment.
- Be able to proficiently operate the plant.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as may be requested.
