About The Position

This role involves the repair and maintenance of electric and gas drive welding equipment. The Repair Worker will work with electrical voltages up to 440 volt AC and 900 volts DC, ensuring all equipment is operating safely and effectively. The position requires diagnosing, servicing, and repairing electrical, mechanical, and engine-driven equipment, including MIG, TIG, STICK, and PLASMA CUTTERS. The employee will attend service training and certification schools as needed to stay current with warranty and technology updates. Testing of equipment after repairs is a key responsibility to ensure proper and safe operation.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education equivalent to a one year Technical College or equivalent.
• 1-3+ years of related electrical and mechanical experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, and work in a shop environment.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of positioning equipment, welding application and equipment is an asset.
• Strong electrical and mechanical background preferred.
• No welding skills required.

Responsibilities
