Repair Technician / Warehouse, Medical Equipment
About The Position
Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Complex Mobility Repair Technician position. This role includes visiting clients in their place of residence to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair their mobility equipment. The position also involves schedule and route coordination with the Complex Mobility team, providing education and training to clients, caregivers and medical professionals on proper use, care and safety of equipment operations, and contacting manufacturer service teams to troubleshoot equipment and request quotes for items that need to be replaced or updated. Other responsibilities include maintaining, servicing, and cleaning Norco-owned complex mobility equipment and manufacturer demo equipment, delivery of smaller, less complex pieces of equipment, and performing other tasks as assigned or necessary.
Requirements
- Have a mechanical aptitude and be able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Must be willing to learn and use technology in a paperless environment, including computer and cell phone.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. frequently and over 100lbs, occasionally to a height of 36".
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to drive safely.
- Ongoing education is provided, Must stay current in repair / diagnostic techniques and practices.
Responsibilities

- Delivery of smaller, less complex pieces of equipment.
- Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary.
