About The Position

The Repair Technician supports the Brightstar Field Service team in providing in-house repair and maintenance services, managing inventory, and delivering equipment. They will be part of our award-winning lottery organization. This role is based in our West Greenwich, RI, location. Performs a variety of duties related to the troubleshooting and repair of terminals down to the component level and boards, under general supervision.

Requirements

One or more years of related work experience.
Must be able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds. Loading/unloading trucks.

Nice To Haves

Associates Degree in Electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

Tests equipment to determine the cause of failure.
Uses schematics and/or technical manuals in the repair/maintenance of terminal boards, etc.
Component-level troubleshooting of PC boards and sub-assemblies using oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.
Maintains log of incoming and outgoing terminals and repairs using data entry workstation.
Inspects terminals, circuits, etc. for damage.
Cleans interior/exterior of terminal, boards, etc.
Assists field service technicians with terminal-related problems or in obtaining necessary supplies.
Maintains terminals used in agent training as needed.
Operates various equipment/machines including computer, oscilloscope, multi- meter, forklift, etc.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
