This role focuses on the repair, rebuild, and testing of industrial pumps and rotating equipment. You'll work on a wide variety of equipment, diagnosing failures, rebuilding components, and supporting equipment repairs from tear-down through final testing. Most work is performed in our OEM-authorized service center, where you'll disassemble, inspect, repair, rebuild, and test customer equipment. Occasional field work includes troubleshooting, alignments, equipment removal, installation support, and startup activities at customer facilities. This is an OEM-authorized repair environment, not plant maintenance. Rather than performing routine maintenance on operating equipment, you'll be involved in complete tear-downs, failure analysis, rebuilds, and remanufacturing work that restores equipment to OEM standards. Detroit Pump has been serving municipal and industrial customers throughout Michigan since 1926 and is proudly celebrating its 100th year in business. Detroit Pump is part of Tencarva, one of the largest and most respected distributors and OEM-authorized service networks in the pump and process equipment industry. Together, Detroit Pump and Tencarva provide equipment distribution, applications engineering, OEM-authorized repair, field service, custom fabrication, automation and controls, and other value-added services that support industrial, municipal water/wastewater, power generation, mining, automotive, and other critical industries.
