The Repair Tech 1 will perform repair, replace and/or service work of Company products in accordance with prescribed procedures. Requirements

Education equivalent to high school diploma or GED
Mechanical skills
Diagnostic skills
High attention to detail
Basic computer and writing skills
No final warnings
No more than 6 attendance points
Efficiency and Quality goal met for previous 3 months
Must be in current role for 6+ months
Must meet all job description requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform repair, replace and/or service work of Company products in accordance with prescribed procedures.
Read and comprehend repair order information and parts schematics.
Complete the information on the repair order form.
Work involves locating replacement products in accordance with work instructions.
Make decisions in accordance to work instructions.
Recognize and report operational irregularities and defective materials.
Work from parts sheets, specifications and work instructions.
Under supervision make recommendations as to warranty liability and any unusual repair problems.
Work is subject to in-process and final inspection.
Responsible for quality of work, safety and housekeeping in assigned area.
Be a Milwaukee Tool culture champion by handling tasks as assigned, including working on different processes and departments as needed.
