About The Position

As a Repair Structures Intern at Pratt & Whitney, you will assist in the structural assessments of repairs for engine components. You will also be involved in the evaluation of structural criteria such as LCF, fracture, strength, creep, and vibration. A key part of this role involves the thorough coordination of structural analysis requirements for repairs with module centers/Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPT's). Engineering Interns at Pratt & Whitney work on challenging, meaningful, and impactful projects across our business. Our intern program seeks to help you develop an understanding of the aerospace industry and learn about our company and its operations.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through completion of the internship session.
Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

Experience using computer Finite Element Analysis software such as ANSYS or equivalent.
Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas
Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience
Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
