About The Position

Enstrom Helicopter Corporation is seeking an experienced Repair Station Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our FAA Repair Station in Menominee, Michigan. This is a hands-on operational leadership role focused on coordinating maintenance and repair activities, supporting technicians, managing schedules and priorities, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with FAA requirements, company procedures, and approved technical data. The Repair Station Manager works closely with Engineering, Quality, Parts, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Flight Operations to resolve technical issues, coordinate resources, and keep maintenance and repair work progressing.

Requirements

  • Strong aviation maintenance, aircraft repair, or repair station experience.
  • Working knowledge of FAA maintenance requirements and Repair Station operations.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance practices, technical documentation, and inspection requirements.
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities and coordinate work across several departments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead technicians while remaining engaged in daily operations.
  • Excellent internal communication and follow-through.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or lead technician experience preferred.
  • Rotorcraft experience is strongly preferred.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily activities of Repair Station maintenance and technical personnel.
  • Coordinate aircraft and component maintenance, repair, inspection, and overhaul activities.
  • Establish work priorities and manage schedules, staffing, equipment, and resources.
  • Ensure Repair Station work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, approved technical data, company procedures, and applicable quality requirements.
  • Monitor work in process and identify schedule, technical, material, or resource concerns that could affect completion.
  • Work closely with Engineering to obtain technical guidance, repair instructions, dispositions, and other required support.
  • Coordinate with Quality on inspections, documentation, regulatory requirements, and return-to-service activities.
  • Partner with Parts and Supply Chain to identify and address material requirements affecting Repair Station schedules.
  • Coordinate with Flight Operations when maintenance activities require ground runs, functional checks, or flight activities.
  • Review work packages, maintenance records, and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex aircraft and component maintenance issues.
  • Develop employees through coaching, training, performance feedback, and clear expectations.
  • Promote accountability, organization, safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout Repair Station operations.
  • Communicate schedule, resource, and technical concerns to appropriate internal stakeholders and leadership.
