Repair Specialist
About The Position
Surface Experts is seeking a Repair Specialist to perform small daily repairs by applying creativity and problem-solving skills. This role involves visiting multiple job sites daily, repairing damage, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in a hands-on trade, such as construction, manufacturing, or painting, and a strong understanding of color and paint application for color matching. Surface Experts specializes in repairing various surfaces like floors, countertops, bathtubs, cabinets, and more, offering a sustainable alternative to replacement.
Requirements
- Practical experience with a hands-on trade – Example include any part the construction, manufacturing, or painting process. Personal hobbies could work too!
- Color is a fundamental part of our work, and the ability to understand and manipulate color is crucial for success.
Nice To Haves
- Maintenance experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Visit 4+ job sites every day
- Repair damage on the job site while using exceptional customer service to follow up with staff
- Employ creativity in various settings such as apartments, hotels, commercial buildings, and building sites
- Use outstanding customer service to engage with staff and tenants
- Keep progress up to date with notes and updates in our CRM/Dispatch tool
- Reach out to our Support Team on any issue or question
- Develop an understanding of our own 5-step repair process and use it in the field
- Master each part of your custom-made tool-kit
- Think outside the box to create one-of-a-kind repairs
