Aviation Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, and testing aircraft accessory components, including pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, electromechanical, wheel and brake, and landing gear systems. Performs the removal, inspection, repair, replacement, and reinstallation of all associated subcomponents in accordance with approved technical data and company procedures. Receives technical guidance and direction, as required, from a supervisor or higher-level technician. Work involves disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and test of those components serviced and piece parts by the repair station manual. Applies technical knowledge of aircraft components in determining equipment malfunctions. Applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation. Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturers’ manuals. Will be required to make entries in work order documentation for work performed. Provides other duties as needed and assigned. Understand and perform functions in accordance with FAA, EASA, AS9110, and ISO9001:2016 Standards.
