About The Position

This role involves assessing vehicle damage, creating repair plans, performing various repair techniques, using specialized tools and equipment, and conducting final inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met before vehicles are returned to customers. The position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, manual dexterity, attention to detail, physical fitness for demanding tasks, and excellent customer service skills. The work environment is typically a garage or body shop, with exposure to dust, fumes, and loud noises, for which protective gear is provided.

Requirements

  • Understanding of automotive systems and components, including bodywork and structural integrity.
  • Manual dexterity to work with small parts and tools effectively.
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality repairs and finishes.
  • Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and working in awkward positions.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and provide excellent service.
