About The Position

Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Repair Operations Supervisor to drive productivity and the performance of repair projects for the branch and customers. The Repair Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in project execution, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance by coordinating resources, materials, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • A University Degree in Engineering, a trade certificate, and/or 5+ years in the elevator field
  • Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external customers
  • Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
  • Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Role is technical in nature and requires the ability to attend job sites, understand how elevator systems operate, and be familiar with major elevator components, parts, and repair methods

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or education in a technical, engineering, construction, or industrial environment is an asset
  • Strong interest in learning the elevator industry and developing project coordination skills
  • Previous coordination, planning, or support experience in an operations-focused role is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Repair Superintendent to estimate, plan, and execute repair projects
  • Regularly attend job sites to review project scope, assess technical requirements, and collaborate with field personnel
  • Coordinate material deliveries and issue purchase orders in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Develop and maintain professional, productive relationships with co-workers, field employees, clients, and other stakeholders involved in repair projects
  • Forecast and schedule labor resources to ensure successful project completion while maintaining quality standards and improving operational efficiency
  • Accurately analyze project requirements and assist in developing contingencies for estimates and execution challenges
