About The Position
This internship provides hands-on experience in maintaining mechanical items throughout the hotel, assisting engineers with repairs, and ensuring all work areas are kept clean. The intern will also be responsible for understanding hotel emergency procedures and regulations, maintaining property-wide mechanicals, and assisting with pool maintenance. Special projects may also be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Knowledge of all aspects of the Engineering dept.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all mechanical items in guest rooms and public areas.
- Receive direction for house calls via phone or radio.
- Assist engineers and mechanics with repairs.
- Clean all work areas after completing job.
- Fill out Daily Work form.
- Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
- Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
- Maintain all mechanicals property wide.
- Maintain property pools as directed by CPO.
- Special projects as assigned by Supervisor.
