About The Position

Rug Doctor is hiring a full-time Repair Technician to service and maintain equipment and provide superior customer service to established field locations. The company is seeking a responsible, self-starter who can work independently, has a successful record of accomplishment, and can self-manage their productivity daily in a fast-paced environment in the servicing of equipment. Candidates with small equipment or mechanical knowledge who enjoy working with their hands are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• General mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Must be physically able to regularly bend, stoop, move from ground level to higher levels, raise/lift from ground level and manuver (lift, push pull) 40-75 lbs (pallet, cleaning equipment and products)

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with repairing equipment, a plus
• General knowledge of warehouse procedures

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical equipment problems
• Repair carpet cleaning machines as required
• Clean and prepare equipment for shipping to Districts
• Organize and maintain the warehouse as requested (5% of workday)
