About The Position

The Repack Picker is responsible for ensuring all the product is picked and packed neatly and accurately.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is acceptable
• Broad knowledge of methods and procedures used in the various distribution center functions
• General knowledge of distribution center layout.
• Able to operate powered equipment efficiently and safely.
• Achieve productivity and quality standards and change assignments as directed.
• Familiarity with product by catalog number and handling characteristics.
• Keep work area clean, free of debris and safe to work in.
• Must have above average attendance, above average response to company requested overtime, and meet all Quality standards.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions and effectively use math and related skills, legible handwriting.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Examine and inspect boxes, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met
• Label boxes, box tags, or products, using marking tools
• Count products and materials when required
• Remove defective products or materials
• Seal boxes or materials, using tape gun
• Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons and boxes
• Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools and pump cart
