About The Position

The Repack/Embalage is responsible for building shipping containers and repacking parts for customers within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on material handling role that requires being on your feet for the majority of the shift. The ideal candidate has working computer knowledge, basic math and problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic to keep pace with production demands.

Responsibilities

Maintain and promote good housekeeping by following the philosophy “Everything has a place. Everything in its place”.
Build wooden crates (approximately 300 per day) used to ship parts to customers.
Repack parts into customer-branded packaging according to specifications.
Inspect crates and packaging for quality and compliance with customer specifications before shipment.
Handle various parts and packaging materials throughout the shift.
Work collaboratively with other Material Handlers to build larger crates (some up to 6 feet in length) and meet daily production targets.
Operate a forklift as needed to move materials within the work area.
Use basic computer skills to print shipping and packaging labels.
Apply basic math and problem-solving skills to complete daily tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Perform any and/or all other duties as assigned.
