About The Position

ServiceLink, a top provider in the mortgage services industry, is seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual for a rewarding career as an REO Title Curative. This role is ideal for someone with work experience in the real estate industry or vendor management, and customer service experience, who is proficient with Microsoft Word. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience within the title insurance industry-title clearance, examination of documents like deeds, mortgages, judgments, liens, etc
  • Proven exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient knowledge of real estate title, deed preparation and closing
  • Excellent follow through and organizational skills
  • A level of high energy with a positive attitude
  • The ability to use and have advanced computer skills and are proficient with the Microsoft software products
  • The ability to think outside of the box, troubleshoot common issues, and work independently on assigned workload
  • Excel skills (V Look Ups and Reports)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Practical work experience within real estate industry examining and/or curing title issues
  • Proficient knowledge of real estate titles, deed preparation and curative process
  • Proven customer skills
  • Must be able to use and have advanced computer skills and be proficient in the Microsoft software products

Responsibilities

  • Review title commitment for clearance and assure all items are accounted for including but not limited to updating payoff, taxes, and HOA
  • Resolve curative issues like prior mortgage, judgments, UCC liens, municipal liens, encroachment issues, among others
  • Review daily reports to ensure completion of client assigned tasks
  • Maintain assigned files with daily notes and updates
  • Handle high volume
  • Follow payment processes per client expectations
  • Review daily reports to complete all assigned client tasking
  • Provide daily file updates per client expectations
  • Follow referral process per client expectations
  • Follow payment process per client expectations including having correct billing codes
  • Follow escalation process internally and externally to provide customer service
  • Address inquiries from client or internal staff professionally and in a timely manner
  • Maintain open communication with management and clients
  • Resolve curative issues within expected timeframes for transactions to close on time
  • Attend and participate in on camera team meetings
  • All other duties as assigned
