About The Position
NC Power Systems is seeking technicians who will be responsible for the diagnosing and repairing of their Rental Fleet. The fleet primarily consists of CAT Generators, Air Compressors, and Ancillary Equipment, with work performed both in-house and at customer locations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum 1-year mechanical experience troubleshooting and/or servicing Diesel Equipment preferred
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Products or other comparable system
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs safely
- Positive, self-starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality
- Provide your own basic tools
Responsibilities
- Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (mainly generators and compressors.)
- Communicating effectively with other technicians and customers.
- Completing necessary paperwork timely and accurately.
- Performing data entry and using relevant computer systems and software as directed.
