About The Position

Woodward Tahoe is seeking Part Time and Holiday Help Rental Technicians for the upcoming winter season. This role is crucial in assisting guests with getting set up quickly, safely, and confidently with all the necessary equipment to enjoy their day on the mountain. This is a Part Time/On-Call Seasonal position that runs during the winter operating season.

Requirements

• No prior rental experience required—we’ll train you!
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
• Mechanically inclined or willing to learn basic gear setup
• Dependable and team-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
• Must be able to stand, bend, and lift (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods
• Willingness to learn rental software and safety standards

Nice To Haves

• Bonus if you ski or ride—but not required!

Responsibilities

• Fit guests with ski or snowboard boots, bindings, and equipment based on ability and size.
• Adjust, test, and maintain rental gear to ensure safety and functionality.
• Assist guests with returns, exchanges, and troubleshooting.
• Educate guests on proper use of equipment and basic safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient rental area.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Work closely with other departments like ticketing, ski school, and lift ops.
• Keep a positive attitude, even during peak weekends and holidays.
