About The Position

As a Rental Technician, you will be the expert who gets guests geared up, comfortable, and confident before they hit the slopes. You will bring your passion for skiing or snowboarding, your love of helping people, and your knowledge of the sport to deliver the best-in-class guest service on which Christy Sports prides itself. This role is about enabling adventures, building confidence, and sharing what makes mountain life extraordinary.

Requirements

• Outgoing, friendly, and can talk ski or board shop all day.
• Love to ski or snowboard (or are eager to learn).
• Flexible with schedule, including holidays, weekends, and split shifts.
• Able to stand for hours.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Basic computer skills for processing transactions and documentation.
• Strong English fluency (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with energy and enthusiasm, creating a fun and friendly shop experience.
• Get people excited for their ski or ride day by expertly fitting boots, skis, snowboards, and poles.
• Pass binding certification tests to become a certified safety expert.
• Share knowledge of gear and mountain culture, guiding guests toward the right equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide technical solutions.
• Other duties may be assigned.
