About The Position
This role involves assisting guests in selecting the right ski, snowboard, and boot equipment, performing essential maintenance and safety checks on all rental gear, and ensuring guests receive the correct equipment as requested. The position also requires providing excellent customer service, maintaining a professional appearance, and collaborating with Guest Services to meet guest needs. Additionally, responsibilities include tuning and waxing ski and snowboard equipment to high standards and setting DINs and binding equipment according to manufacturer specifications. The role may also involve other duties as needed.
Requirements
- 16 years of age or older
- Proficiency in computer systems and ability to learn rental shop specific software
- Must have excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of skiing and snowboarding preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist guests in choosing appropriate equipment including skis, snowboards, and boots
- Perform general maintenance and safety inspections of all rental equipment
- Ensure every guest is provided the appropriate equipment per their request
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
- Present oneself in a professional manner at all times
- Communicate with Guest Services to ensure guests receive needed equipment
- Tune and wax ski and snowboard equipment to maintain high quality equipment
- Set DINs and binding equipment according to manufacturer guidelines
- Assist with other duties as needed
