As a Rental Sales Professional, you’ll play a key role in driving profitable rental growth by building strong customer relationships and delivering reliable equipment solutions. You’ll partner closely with rental operations, dispatch, and service teams to ensure seamless execution from quote through return—while representing RDO Equipment Co. with professionalism and integrity. If you enjoy working directly with customers and owning the full rental lifecycle, this could be a great fit. Requirements

  • Sales experience: prior sales experience and/or relevant sales training.
  • Customer‑focused mindset: ability to build trust and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Strong organization skills: able to manage multiple opportunities and priorities across a territory.
  • Communication skills: clear, professional verbal and written communication.
  • Valid work authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage long‑term customer relationships to drive profitable rental growth within an assigned territory.
  • Prospect new rental customers through jobsite visits, referrals, and targeted outreach, while maintaining a strong presence with existing accounts.
  • Assess customer needs by understanding project scope, timelines, and equipment requirements to recommend effective rental solutions.
  • Generate rental quotes and complete contracts, documentation, and system entries to ensure accurate transactions.
  • Own the rental process from initial contact through delivery, return, and post‑rental follow‑up
