The Rental Sales Manager (RSM) position at Hogan, located in Detroit, MI, is responsible for both the sales and operational aspects of the commercial truck rental product line. Key responsibilities include business development, account management, customer service, and asset management, all contributing to the branch's overall product line performance. The RSM is expected to tenaciously pursue and develop new commercial clients within an assigned sales territory through effective outside sales and marketing activities, including cold calling. This role also involves participating in developing pricing strategies, maintaining an active prospect database, and identifying sales leads for other contractual product lines such as full-service lease and contract maintenance. Furthermore, the manager will manage existing accounts, assist in overseeing a multi-million dollar fleet, make decisions and create solutions to maximize product line revenue and profitability, contribute to creating an efficient rental operation, provide outstanding customer service, and execute the company's sales and marketing strategies. Hogan's management team provides positive coaching and mentoring to help develop the RSM's skill sets for success, offering exposure to various sales and operations aspects of the business.
