About The Position

We're looking for an energetic and service-oriented Rental Sales & Customer Service Associate to join our local branch team. In this role, you'll work directly with customers to provide transportation solutions, manage the rental process from start to finish, and help ensure every customer leaves with a positive experience. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record (no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents within the past three years).
  • Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, banking, or the car rental industry is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities in a busy environment.
  • Ability to remain professional and solution-focused during challenging customer interactions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and assist with new rentals, reservations, vehicle exchanges, extensions, and returns.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend the rental vehicle and optional products that best fit their trip.
  • Present available protection plans, vehicle upgrades, and other value-added services.
  • Complete rental agreements, collect payments, and process transactions accurately.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each rental, documenting vehicle condition.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure vehicles are available, clean, and ready on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate customer and rental records using company systems.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local businesses, insurance replacement customers, and repeat renters.
  • Contribute to a professional, organized, and welcoming branch environment.
