About The Position

This is a seasonal position for a Rental/Retail Hybrid Associate for the Winter 26.27 season, offering both Full-Time and Part-Time employment. The role involves performing multiple duties within a shop, such as cashiering, ski and binding fitting, and retail sales. Applicants will be considered for various Rental/Retail shop locations based on operational needs, skills, experience, and skiing ability if necessary. Requirements

2 years of previous work history/education required.
Guest service experience required.
Previous computer experience required (Windows, Microsoft Office).
Must maintain neatly groomed appearance.
Adhere to all safety policies.
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp Service Excellence standards.
Must be a minimum 18 years of age.
Communicate clearly in English.

Nice To Haves

Cash handling experience preferred.
May be required to pass ski binding certification program.
Knowledge of ski industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Covering at least two of the four job classifications for the rental and retail department: cashiering, rental ski and binding fitting, demo ski and binding fitting and sales, and/or retail soft goods sales.
Performing binding adjustments using standard hand tools and a binding testing machine.
Switching roles often within a single shift in a fast-paced environment.
Retaining and relaying product information, including safety information pertaining to rental equipment, after receiving specific product training.
Complying with all company policies and procedures, and any regulatory requirements.
Performing other duties as assigned.
