About The Position

Set up, clean, repair and maintain equipment in the Rental & Repair Shop. This role involves actively participating in training, ensuring annual binding manufacturer indemnification is complete, and marketing/selling resort merchandise and services. The technician will instruct guests on equipment operation, fit, adjust, and repair rental equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Maintaining cleanliness and care of department facilities, resort property, and equipment is also a key responsibility. The role requires a thorough knowledge of resort product offerings and run locations, exercising judgment in accordance with company policies, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Consistent attendance and dependability are essential.

Requirements

Knowledge of Resort products and services for sale / rent and ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate their safe use.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to relate in a positive manner to guests and co-workers.
Ability and commitment to on-site schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to ski or snowboard.
Ability to work well under pressure, problem solve, and multitask.
Thorough understanding of company policies and practices.
Organized and attention to detail.
Reliable transportation.
Must be 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED.
Successful completion and passing all binding technician exams well in advance of start of Winter operations.
Basic computer, internet, customer service, phone, and communication skills.
Background check.

Responsibilities

Set up, clean, repair, wax, and maintain any and all types of equipment in the Rental Shop.
Actively participate in Rental & Repair Shop training.
Ensure all annual binding manufacturer indemnification is complete and on file in season.
Market and sell Resort merchandise and services in the Rental & Repair Shop.
Instruct guests on equipment operation and fit, adjust, and repair rental equipment.
Ensure safety protocols are in place and followed by staff.
Perform the job and get along with others.
Work together with all departments to build a positive working environment.
Maintain cleanliness/care of department facilities, resort property, and equipment.
Thorough knowledge of Resort product offerings and run locations.
Exercise judgment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Show up to work on time, consistent attendance, and dependable.
Physically perform the essential job functions of this position.
