About The Position

The Rental Management Trainee program is designed to be completed in 18-24 months, providing comprehensive training in general rental management, with specific focus on Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales/Marketing. The trainee will be involved in operational and administrative tasks to support location and regional management, experiencing all aspects of the business unit in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a similar related degree.
Must be computer literate (intermediate level required).
One (1) year or more of customer service experience with issue resolution preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
High energy, self-motivated, and self-directed individual.
Ability to focus on multiple projects and activities simultaneously.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong follow-up practices.
High degree of common sense and the aptitude to learn quickly.
Ability to relocate in the region/US at the conclusion of the training program.

Responsibilities

Handling sales and processing for inbound calls and outbound solicitation.
Maintaining current and accurate data within the company's marketing database.
Generating rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads.
Managing all rental asset processes, including vehicle preventative maintenance and cleanliness standards.
Meeting overall Ryder market share goals by executing sales and marketing initiatives.
Ensuring compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies.
Reconciling customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain relationships and grow the customer base.
Performing the role of On-Call Representative on a voluntary basis or as scheduled.
Performing other duties as assigned.
