The Ryder Rental Management Trainee program is an 18–24 month accelerated career development experience designed to build the next generation of Ryder leaders. This program is fast-paced and touches every aspect of the business unit. You’ll receive hands-on training across Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales & Marketing — gaining the full toolkit you need to step into a leadership role with confidence. Over 18–24 months, you’ll build expertise across every core area of the business: Finance – Understand the P&L drivers behind a high-performing rental operation; Operations – Manage rental assets, vehicle PM standards, and day-to-day location performance; Sales & Marketing – Drive revenue through inbound sales, outbound solicitation, and lead generation for rental, lease, and used vehicle sales; Human Resources – Learn how to build, develop, and lead a team; Customer Relationship Management – Resolve customer concerns and grow a loyal customer base; Compliance & Regulatory – Ensure alignment with company, local, state, and federal requirements.
