About The Position

The Rental Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that MSD tool rental jobs are being coordinated in compliance with MS Directional expectations and executing all basic and critical operations as expected. The Rental Coordinator will communicate with the Directional Coordinators, R&M Motor Shop, Inventory team and other groups with the timing of tools requests, accuracy of all relevant well information, and advising on rental jobs. The Rental Coordinator will be coordinating and discussing job and tool requirements, sizes, timing of delivery, etc with the customer. Prospect and develop new customers by visiting job sites and customers offices. Works along with Sales and Directional Ops to sell tool rental jobs to customers. Site visit customers on a regular basis to maintain accurate and detailed inventory records. Attend site visits to potential customers to expand our motor rental footprint and drive rental revenue. Communicate with the customers that are requesting rental motors/tools. Prepare job equipment lists and ensure equipment are directed to the job site as per customer schedule. Work with various support groups to ensure all pre-well requests have been completed and tools are ready for delivery. Monitor rental tool activities/daily performance and otherwise as needed and communicate internally as required. Coordinates and communicates with appropriate staff for the troubleshooting and correction of well site problems. Complete all updates in Innova and other systems and daily reporting as required. Works with Customer after job completion to schedule pick up of motors for delivery back to shop and direct such information to the appropriate parties to close out the job file. Create and review the field service tickets to ensure Rentals and related charges are accurate and consistent with the pricing agreement for the job and provides to Finance for billing. Supports and collaborates with other departments within the organization. Interact with customers as needed and required. Complete other assignments associated with MS Directional business as directed.

Requirements

  • Experience in coordinating and oversight of Rental Tool Field Operations.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, with the ability to oversee others and influence decisions, capable of identifying problems and recommending alternative solutions.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to take initiative, make decisions and drive for results.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of professional integrity and demeanor.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and written report preparation.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively engage with cross functional teams in effort to improve overall company performance.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Five years stable related work history with downhole motor tool experience.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license and be eligible to drive Company vehicle including ability to meet requirements of Company’s Vehicle Use Agreement and Driving Policy.
