About The Position

Rental associates are responsible for generating sales through world-class guest service, assisting customers with rental equipment and providing our guests with gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience. This role is for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 and requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends. The position involves fitting guests with equipment, explaining its operation and safety practices, and maintaining safety standards. Rental associates may also perform cashiering and retail sales duties, and could be cross-trained to support other departments such as Mountain Activities, Retail, Food and Beverage, Ticket Sales, Lift Operations, and Base Area Operations.

Requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends
Commitment to exceptional Customer Service
Maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry
Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods
Must be able to communicate fluently in English
At least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

Provide excellent guest service at one of our retail shops
Fit guests with equipment - we'll train you!
Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental including length of rental and return options
Work together with teammates to maintain safety standard
May include other duties such as cashiering, retail sales
Other duties as assigned
