About The Position

Maas Energy Works is seeking a Renewable Energy Site Manager to oversee the construction and subsequent operation of their agricultural waste-to-energy systems. Initially, the role will focus on construction management, including supervising earthwork, pipeline installation, concrete work, and mechanical and electrical equipment installation. Upon completion of construction, the Site Manager will transition to site operations, managing manure management, biogas handling, upgrading, and CNG/hauling operations. Responsibilities include monitoring plant performance, performing routine maintenance, repairing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with colleagues and partners. Equipment operated will include PLCs, data loggers, biogas blowers, pumps, motors, and electrical wiring. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction management, mechanical and electrical equipment, and enjoy troubleshooting industrial facilities. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and moderate computer skills are essential, as the Site Manager will represent MEW to contractors, vendors, and stakeholders. The role requires pride in appearance, reliability, honesty, consistency, and the ability to work without direct supervision.

Requirements

  • Four or more years of experience in Construction or Construction Management preferred.
  • The ability to read and understand basic site plans a must.
  • General mechanical and electrical experience (2+ years preferred)
  • Proficient in written & spoken English required.
  • Basic computing and Microsoft office skills required.
  • Must have current GA/FL driver’s license and be able to operate company vehicles

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to read P&IDs or electrical schematics a plus
  • Farm/AG experience a plus
  • Forklift/tele-handler/backhoe skills a plus
  • Plant or site operations experience preferred.
  • Facilities maintenance experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project construction sites, ensuring that construction is designed, prepared and executed according to plan
  • Perform duties similar to a superintendent
  • Perform daily walk-throughs, maintain daily logs, and prepare a weekly summary
  • Identify site conflicts/problems
  • Interact with on-site contractors and dairy staff
  • Jobsite safety
  • QAQC
  • Off-loading of truck deliveries
  • Staging construction materials
  • Supervise bidding, handle contractor communication, monitor construction scheduling, supervise remote contractors
  • Coordinate with engineers, regulating agencies, and government officials
  • Oversee on-site operations ensuring that all equipment and systems are operating as designed while maximizing facility up-time
  • Troubleshoot issues on-site or remotely as they arise
  • Coordinate repair work and perform maintenance checklists
  • Effectively communicate via email, text, and phone with supervisors, team members, contractors, clients, and business partners
