About The Position

Pathlight Community Services is seeking to hire an Assistant Manager (AM) at our Pearl St location. Mission statement: Quality Services for Quality of Life. It is our mission to do whatever is needed to help people meet the challenges of their lives. We offer supported housing and support services to marginalized adult populations. We are looking for someone that can work full time second shift (4p-12a).

Requirements

• A high school diploma or general education diploma or equivalent
• Competent in reporting requirements
• Competent in First Aid
• Competent in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Competent in personal care, supervision and protection
• Competent in resident rights
• Competent in safety and fire prevention
• Competent in prevention and containment of communicable diseases
• Must be in such physical and mental health so as not to negatively affect either the health of the resident, or the quality of his/her care
• Pass a criminal background check
• A year or more experience in the group home setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete required reports and follow written and oral instructions that are related to the care and supervision of residents.
• Meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of each resident.
• Handle emergency situations.
• Drive for the company.
